Position Details

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at a healthcare facility in Finley, IA. This position involves providing and managing patient care through the application of the nursing process.

Shift Information

• Shift Type: Nights
• Schedule: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• On-Call: $9/hour

Unit Information

• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Scrubs: Grey, solid
• Patient/Surgical Types:
  • Stroke (Neuro)
  • CAPD
  • Congestive Heart Failure
  • COVID
  • Cath (Cardiovascular)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing or in Intermediate Care Units (IMCU), Progressive Care Units (PCU), or Stepdown Units.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system is required.
• 1st time travelers are welcome to apply as long as they meet the experience and EMR requirements.
• Comfort and capability in caring for various patient and surgical types listed above.

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse License in Iowa
• Current ACLS (AHA) Certification
• Current BLS (AHA) Certification
• NIHSS Certification

Additional Information

Travel candidates must be located at least 50 miles from Finley, IA, and should be prepared to work during holiday seasons, specifically requiring availability for 2 out of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving).
