Shift: Nights; 3×12 hour shifts, with no call requirements, every other weekend including holiday rotation

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. As a valued member, you will contribute your professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care through the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assume charge responsibilities during nighttime shifts.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans as needed.
• Participate in patient de-escalation and crisis intervention.

• Bed Size: 9
• Patient Ratios: Up to 1:9
• Patient Types: Psych/Behavioral Health
• Scrub Colors: Grey

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health capacity.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically EPIC.
• Previous experience working with all age groups, from adolescents to geriatric patients.
• Charge experience is preferred.
• De-escalation certification preferred (MOAB, MAB, CPI, SAMA) – can obtain during onboarding.

Other Requirements

• Current BLS Certification (AHA)
• Availability to work every third weekend and participate in holiday rotations.
• Willingness to work a contract of 91 days.
