Position Overview

This position involves performing a variety of integrated neurological/neurosurgical and trauma critical care functions. The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process and apply extensive nursing knowledge in a compassionate and attentive manner.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, considering physical, emotional, psychological, social, and family support needs.
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care, aligning with the real and perceived needs of patients.
• Evaluate patient progress through analysis of patient information and nursing knowledge, determining the achievement of goals in accordance with the patient’s plan of care or clinical path.
• Consult and collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement comprehensive care for individuals.

Work Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Work every other weekend and holiday.

Location

Facility located in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Experience in Neuro Trauma is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA are necessary.
• Recent travel nursing experience is highly preferred.

Contract Information

This position offers a contract of 91 days, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
