Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge to the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist in the provision and management of care for patients.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Unit Information

• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Patient Population:
  • Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
  • Cardiac Angiogram (before and after care)
  • Ablation
  • Pacemaker
  • Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
  • Cardioversion
  • Stroke management
  • Management of cardiac drips
• Common Drips:
  • Nitroglycerin
  • Amiodarone
  • Cardizem
  • Nifedipine
  • Heparin
  • Lidocaine
• Titration is required for drips.

Work Environment

Guaranteed hours: 91 contract days. Note: at least two years of previous stepdown experience is required, along with completion of at least one travel contract.

Holiday Requirements

Travelers are required to work two of the following three winter holidays: Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving. There is a limit of one day request off between November 26, 2025 – November 30, 2025 and December 23, 2025 – January 2, 2026 for all travelers, regardless of holidays worked.
