Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Description
This position is within a pediatric unit, and candidates must be comfortable and experienced in this area. The selected individual will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess and address both individual and group needs through effective interventions. Utilizing the nursing process, the role entails meeting the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision of Mental Health Workers (MHWs) to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- Participate in the Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program, offering 24-hour care in a nurturing environment focused on healing and recovery.
- Support patients in developing and maintaining sobriety while managing co-occurring psychiatric issues such as Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Anxiety Disorders.
- Deliver high-quality intervention and medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal and stabilization.
- Educate patients to ensure a strong and successful recovery process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), with recent experience within the last 3 months.
- Psychiatric/Behavioral Health experience is required, with specific age groups listed on the resume.
- Willingness to float to other units and take on charge LPN shifts is essential.

Additional Information
This role may require working weekends, with every other weekend expected. Candidates must be willing and eligible to obtain necessary certifications, including CPI, which will be provided onsite if not currently active.
