Position Details

This position involves working 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. A minimum of 24 hours of work is guaranteed, with an expectation of three shifts per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain professional nursing standards.
• Implement, coordinate, and deliver care to the assigned patient population.
• Provide leadership and supervision to certified nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, and other healthcare workers as assigned.

Requirements

Applicants must be comfortable with the following:

• Neonatal ventilation systems
• Vapotherm or CPAP
• Neonatal IVs and lines
• TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition)
• Code Blue protocols

Certifications

Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.

Work Location

The position is located in Illinois.

Contract Details

• Guaranteed work hours: 24 hours
• Contract total duration: 91 days
• Weekend shifts: One shift every third weekend
