Position Overview

Shift Details

• Shift Type: 12-hour Evening Shift
• Shift Hours: 14:30 – 03:00
• Block Scheduling: Not promised or guaranteed

Unit Information

The Emergency Department provides care to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The unit is equipped with 64 beds, including:

• 2 Triage Beds
• 40 Acute Care Beds
• 6 Super Track Beds
• 2 Trauma Beds
• 10 Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) Beds
• 6 Psychiatric Beds

Role Expectation

Registered Nurses will be responsible for managing a variety of patient cases, including:

• Stroke
• Sepsis
• Trauma
• Myocardial Infarction (MI)
• Cardiac Arrest
• Respiratory Failure

Specialty Equipment

The department utilizes advanced medical equipment, including:

• Rapid Infusor
• Arctic Sun

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department with pediatric experience preferred.
• Charge Nurse or Manager experience is highly preferred.
• EMR experience with EPIC is required.
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC must be in hand).
• Active RN licenses verification with NURSYS report required.
• Drivers license with an address matching demographics.

Contract Details

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 90 days
