Position: Phlebotomist

Contract Details

Duration: 8-week contract

Shift: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday

• Shifts may vary: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, or 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• A background in science and experience in phlebotomy is necessary
• Strong manual dexterity and excellent customer service skills are essential
• BLS Certification is required

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures promptly, accurately, and reliably, adhering to established departmental protocols
• Process laboratory specimens, including blood and body fluids, for testing
• Handle clerical and client service functions for the laboratory as needed
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
