Position: Medical-Surgical Nights

Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (18:30 – 07:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 91 days

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our medical-surgical unit on the night shift. The successful candidate will provide exemplary care for adult and geriatric patients. This position requires floating to similar units as needed based on facility needs.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role; first-time travelers are welcomed.
• Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 6 patients.
• Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.
• On Call Requirement: None.

Unit Details

• Daily Census: 32 patients.
• Number of Beds: 32.
• Interdisciplinary Support: Includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.
• Documentation System: EPIC.

Certification Requirements

• BLS required.
• CPI preferred.

Travel Requirements

• Must float to like units within scope based on facility needs.
• 45-mile local radius; local travelers are not accepted.

Location

This contract is based in a facility located in Lovelace Medical Center, Albuquerque, NM.

Orientation and Training

Travelers will receive a brief orientation upon arrival. Additional modules are available onsite and are necessary for completion during the orientation period.
