Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our inpatient team. This position involves providing care for patients during day shifts, working a 5×8-hour schedule from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

Job Requirements

• 1 year of relevant experience required
• New Mexico License required (pending license acceptable)
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) preferred
• Prior charge experience not applicable

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology

Patient Care Details

The SLP will care for patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 52 patients. The facility has 60 rooms and 62 beds and offers interdisciplinary support from Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and other services as needed.

Additional Information

Preferred backgrounds include CARF accreditation in Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, multi-trauma patients, debility, amputations, dysphagia, and high-level dementia cases. The shift will be Sunday through Thursday.
