Position: ER Nurse

An ER nurse plays a critical role in the healthcare system by identifying medical issues, assessing their severity, and providing immediate interventions to minimize adverse long-term effects and sustain life when needed. As one of the first responders in the emergency room, the ER nurse is essential in offering timely and effective care to patients upon their arrival.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess and identify medical issues in patients swiftly upon admission to the emergency room.
• Evaluate the severity of medical conditions and provide appropriate immediate support.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment provided.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatments.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in an emergency room setting.
• Hold active certifications in the following areas:
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS
• Possess a valid nursing license in the state of Oklahoma.

Work Schedule

This position requires working 6 nights over a 6-week period.

This is a contract position with guaranteed hours for a duration of 91 days.
