Job Summary

This position involves delivering care to patients using the nursing process, following an established philosophy. The role requires collaboration with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and to achieve desired patient outcomes. It is essential to interact effectively with patients, families, and visitors while upholding the standards of professional nursing. Additionally, the position entails providing both physical and psychological support to patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Obstetrics/Labor and Delivery.
• Required experience in Post-Partum care.
• All relevant certifications must be current and include:
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NRP
  • FHM
  • BLS (AHA)
• MediTech experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in a Trauma III facility is preferred.

Work Requirements

• Work history relevant to the specialty.
• Skills checklist, current to within 1 year, pertinent to the specialty.
• Two supervisory references with dates of employment listed.
