Description: Job Summary:Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.-This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients’ responses to treatments.-Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room. Schedule Notes:7:00 AM -7:30 PM. Monday, Tuesday, FridayWeekends- Required.Holidays- As Needed. At least 4 On Call shifts per month. Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience -RequiredEperience in at least one of the following specialties: REQUIRED- Ortho, Vascular, Davinci,Neuro, Surgery.Experience in all four areas- Highly PreferredScrub and Circulating Experience-Required.
