Description: Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient s needs.-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.-Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.-Initiates assessment based on the patient s problems or needs, the physician s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.-Manages care of patients.-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.-Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Schedule Notes:7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.3X12S. 13 WEEKS. Every other weekend. Holidays required. No On call. 2+ years of strong experience in ICU/CCU- Required. MUST HAVE NEURO ICU EXPERIENCEMust be willing to float to Tele/Stepdown- 4W or 5N with a max of 4 tele patients.Skills: Required Skills & Experience:-RN will be required to float to any unit within their skillset as requested by the client.-Must have a minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience in a major acute care trauma (level 1 or 2 highly preferred) hospital.-Must have a minimum of 1 year recent bedside MS and Tele experience in a major acute care trauma center.Preferred Skills & Experience:-N/AEducation: Required Education:-ASN Required.Preferred Education:-BSN Preferred.Required Certifications & Licensure:-BLS-AHA.-CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours-ACLS-AHA-NIHSS -NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.-TelemetryPreferred Certifications & Licensure:-N/AJob Category: Clinical
