Shift: night – 3×12

Description: 13 weeks, Nights – 7p-7a, 36 hr/week, EOW.2 years experience required, 1 year travel experience required. BLS, ACLS. No blocked scheduling.May float to ICU or observation unit to care for similar acuity patients.Ratio generally 1:6. Nurse typically cares for patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, including: Post-surgical patients (e.g., after orthopedic surgery, abdominal surgery, etc.). Patients with infections, Patients with chronic conditions (e.g., heart failure, diabetes), Patients with acute illnesses (e.g., pneumonia, sepsis) Services Provided: Pre- and post-operative care, Wound care, Pain management, Medication administration, Vital signs monitoring, Diagnostic testing coordination, Education and support for patients and families.
