Description: BLS RequiredMS/Tele RequiredCardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response TeamsIV therapy/Phlebotomy: Peripheral Line Care/ManagementRespiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway managementProfessional Topics and Skills: Isolation PrecautionsPatient Diagnoses: cardiovascular, woundsSpecial Procedures/Unit Details: Nurse to patient ratios 1:4-5 (days); 1:5-7 (nights). Rapid response team activation. 1 year of recent experience-We have PCT s on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG s and any sort of activity of daily living-We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central linesSpecial Equipment: Hoyer lifts, wound vacOpen to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) They will try but not guaranteedFloat Required: MS, ICU, ED. If staff float to ICU or ED it is to care for Med/Surg level patients or be helping hands.
