Description: Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient s needs.-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.-Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.-Initiates assessment based on the patient s problems or needs, the physician s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.-Manages care of patients.-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. No on Call. 13 Week assignmentBLS-aha, ACLS-aha, NIHSS – RequiredMinimum 1 year of RN-MedSurg/Tele Experience Required (2 years preferred)Will be required to float wherever needed. Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer. Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a prioritySkills: Required Skills & Experience:-Minimum 2 years (recent) Telemetry experience required.-Must have experience with cardiac drips.Education: Required Education:-ASN.-Graduation from an accredited school of nursing – Required.Preferred Education:-BSN.-Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam REQUIRED.Required Certifications & Licensure:-BLS – AHA.-NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.-NIHSS.-ACLS.Preferred Certifications & Licensure:-N/AJob Category: Clinical
