Position: Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine and be adept at providing immediate and effective care to patients.

Shift Details

Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Schedule: 6 nights every 6 weeks

Responsibilities

• Identify medical issues and determine the severity of patients’ conditions.
• Provide immediate support to minimize negative long-term effects and sustain life as necessary.
• Act as one of the first responders when a patient is admitted to the emergency room.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency room setting.
• Recent experience as a traveling nurse is highly preferred.
• Current Oklahoma State License or Compact License.
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Preferred
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, completed within the last two years.
