Job Opportunity

Position Overview

This position involves setting up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures, as well as processing and conducting quality control checks on cine radiographic images. The role includes assisting in patient preparation for procedures and offering support to the cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians to ensure timely and efficient operations within the cardiac cath lab and special procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Preparation: Assist in preparing patients, set up sterile trays, provide post-cath care, and participate in room clean-up.
  • Equipment Management: Manipulate equipment and set appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality.
  • Electronic Equipment Operation: Operate various electronic equipment, including cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, and pacemakers. Perform oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements.

Qualifications

  • Cath Lab Experience – Required
  • BLS (AHA) Certification – Required
  • ACLS (AHA) Certification – Required
  • ARRT Certification – Required

Work Schedule

This position offers a day shift consisting of 10 hours, with a 40-hour guarantee. On-call requirements include 10 days of call per month, with additional weekend responsibilities for on-call service.

Contract Details

The contract spans 91 days, and a minimum of 40 guaranteed hours is assured.
