Schedule: Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 90 days

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

Job Responsibilities

• Perform vaginal examinations and circulate during cesarean sections
• Recover patients under spinal anesthesia
• Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
• Provide comprehensive nursing care, addressing clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual needs of patients
• Recognize safety issues for self and others, implementing proper lifting techniques for patient mobility
• Function effectively in stressful situations and demonstrate creative problem-solving abilities
• Exhibit strong leadership skills, prioritizing and delegating tasks as necessary

Skills Required

• Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and commitment to quality patient care
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal
