Position Overview

An urgent position is available for a CT Technologist who is dedicated to performing a variety of CT procedures, both invasive and non-invasive, requiring independent judgment and technical skill. Candidates must demonstrate creativity and initiative in utilizing prescribed ionizing radiation procedures for accurate radiological diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of CT examinations including neuro, abdomen, and orthopedic imaging.
• Assist Radiologists during invasive procedures.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills while interacting with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all situations.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule and adapt to changes as necessary.
• Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Certification by the Ohio Department of Health is required.
• Strong preference for candidates with CT experience.
• ARRT registry in CT is preferred or must be achieved within 1 year of hire.
• Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiography Technology program or equivalent.

Work Schedule

This position involves working night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with additional shift differentials for night and weekend shifts.
