Description: Speech Language PathologistnnShift: 8:00a – 4:30p holidays and 1 weekend every other month.nnLooking for outpatient experience. Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, NYS licensure, clinical certification in Speech Pathology (or itsnequivalent) and completion of clinical fellowship year required. Must successfully pass pre-employmentnhealth clearance.nDuties: Will administer evaluations, diagnose speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowingndisorders; establish and provide treatment programs for individuals with deficits in speech, language,ncognitive, voice and/or swallowing disorders; schedules patients to receive evaluation and treatmentsnbased on patient needs; provide education to patients, families and staff regarding disorders of speech,nlanguage, cognition, voice and/or swallowing; participate in program development for the speechntherapy discipline, PM&R department and Service Line; prepare reports and conununicate with referralnsources and treatment agencies; participate in community programs.
