Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to implement components of patient care, gather data related to treatments provided, and collaborate with the Physical Therapist (PT) to modify care as required. The PTA will assist the PT in the treatment of individuals across all age groups, from newborns to those at the end of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with stretching and exercising specific muscle groups
- Follow instructions provided by the Physical Therapist
- Work closely with the Physical Therapist to support patient needs
- Communicate with families to identify the most effective at-home techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized physical therapy environment
- Assist in transferring patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area
- Complete administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
- Educate patients on techniques such as balance training
Location

Certifications Required
- BLS (AHA)
- Current PTA license in Missouri
