Job Opportunity
Position: Emergency Room Nurse
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine and be adept at providing immediate and effective care to patients.
Shift Details
Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule: 6 nights every 6 weeks
Responsibilities
- Identify medical issues and determine the severity of patients’ conditions.
- Provide immediate support to minimize negative long-term effects and sustain life as necessary.
- Act as one of the first responders when a patient is admitted to the emergency room.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency room setting.
- Recent experience as a traveling nurse is highly preferred.
- Current Oklahoma State License or Compact License.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Preferred
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, completed within the last two years.
