Position: Radiologic Technologist (CT)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) to join our Imaging Services team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care while adhering to established guidelines and standards. This is a full-time position covering evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence and Patient Care
- Perform CT exams adhering to established procedural guidelines and protocols.
- Administer contrast agents according to procedure guidelines and document essential information accurately.
- Utilize AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) to enhance patient and family experiences.
- Assist in maintaining a high quality of the radiologic science program through student instruction as needed.
- Document necessary information, including patient history and quality controls, accurately and timely.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with technical practices to meet required standards and regulations.
- Adhere to safety protocols to minimize exposure to ionizing radiation.
- Wear a radiation badge for monitoring occupational exposure.
Departmental Support
- Promote and support departmental goals, policies, and projects.
- Communicate effectively with managers and team members regarding workflow and challenges.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspace while reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Collaborate with the School of Radiology to support educational processes and student supervision requirements.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current permit issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health.
- ARRT certification as a Radiographer is required.
- Fluency in English (writing, reading, and speaking) is essential.
- Annual completion of CT and Fluoroscopic Safety education is required.
- Clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred.
- Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- High integrity and confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
