Position Overview
This position offers same-day interviews. Qualified candidates can expect to receive a call from a (405) area code. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will contribute your clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. You may be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses and must reside more than 50 miles from the market.
Shift Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts
- Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with a 2-hour minimum
- On Call: $9/hour
Unit Information
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Patient Population: Management of CHF, post-cardiac angiogram care, ablation, pacemaker placement, TEE, cardioversion, stroke care, and cardiac drips management.
- Drips Managed: Nitro, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nirdipine, Heparin, Lidocaine (titration required).
Holiday Requirements
Travelers are required to work 2 of the following 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving. There is a limit of 1 day request off between the following dates for all travelers:
- November 26, 2025, to November 30, 2025
- December 23, 2025, to January 2, 2026
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of previous step-down experience required
- At least 1 travel contract completed
- Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
- State Licenses: Iowa (Compact Allowed)
Contract Details
- Contract Duration: 91 days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36-40 hours/week
- Overtime Billable: After 40-48 hours/week and after 48 hours/week
