Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team. In this role, you will support patient well-being, rehabilitation, and recovery by providing direct assistance to an occupational therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct therapeutic activities to enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of patients.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the occupational therapist regarding changes or concerns.
- Provide documentation for all patient interactions and maintain accurate records.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment goals and home exercises.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Current Texas occupational therapist assistant license or a compact license.
Work Schedule:
This position offers a consistent schedule of 8-hour shifts during the day, totaling 40 hours per week. There are no on-call or weekend obligations.
Contract Details:
- Contract duration: 91 days
- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
