Position Overview

Shift Details
- Shift Type: 12-hour Evening Shift
- Shift Hours: 14:30 – 03:00
- Block Scheduling: Not promised or guaranteed
Unit Information
The Emergency Department provides care to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The unit is equipped with 64 beds, including:
- 2 Triage Beds
- 40 Acute Care Beds
- 6 Super Track Beds
- 2 Trauma Beds
- 10 Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) Beds
- 6 Psychiatric Beds
Role Expectation
Registered Nurses will be responsible for managing a variety of patient cases, including:
- Stroke
- Sepsis
- Trauma
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Cardiac Arrest
- Respiratory Failure
Specialty Equipment
The department utilizes advanced medical equipment, including:
- Rapid Infusor
- Arctic Sun
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department with pediatric experience preferred.
- Charge Nurse or Manager experience is highly preferred.
- EMR experience with EPIC is required.
- Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC must be in hand).
- Active RN licenses verification with NURSYS report required.
- Drivers license with an address matching demographics.

Contract Details
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 90 days
