Position Summary
Join our team as a PCU Nurse in a dynamic and fast-paced environment dedicated to providing high-quality care to cardiovascular patients. This position offers a night shift, working 4-12 hour shifts.
Shift Details
- Shift: Night 4×12-Hour (18:30 – 07:00)
- Hours: Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: As needed, rotating
- On-Call Requirement: None
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred (will consider 1+ years)
- Certifications:
- BLS and ACLS required
- CPI preferred
- Cardiovascular Experience: Required
Unit Details
- Bed Capacity: 55 beds on unit
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Daily Census: Approximately 38
- Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics
- Diagnoses: Including but not limited to CHF, STEMI, NSTEMI

- Blood Product Administration
- Cardiac Telemetry
- Central Line Care/Management
- Chest Tubes Management
- CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) Management
- External CPAP/BIPAP Management
- Feeding Tube Care and Management
- Heparin Protocols
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) Management
- Interpretation of Dysrhythmias
- Isolation Precautions
- Management of Cardiac Drips (no titration)
- Telemetry Monitoring
- Wound Care/Wound Vac Management
- Other relevant patient care skills as needed
Location
Located in Lovelace, NM.
Additional Information
Travelers will be expected to float to similar units within their scope as needed, based on facility requirements. A brief orientation will be provided for all travelers.
