Position Details
Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (18:30 – 07:00)
Location: Heart Hospital, City, State
Options for Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Experience Requirement: Minimum 2 years preferred (1+ years will be considered)
First-time travelers are accepted; local travelers are not eligible.

- Total Beds: 55
- Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: 1:4
- Weekend Requirement: As needed, rotating
- Floating Requirement: Yes
- On Call Requirement: None
- Block Scheduling: Case by case
Certifications Required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- CPI certification preferred

- Patient Care in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
- Phlebotomy
- PICC Line Management
- Post Cardiac Angiogram Care
- Post MI Care
- Pre/Post Cardiac Catheterization and Surgery Care
- Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
- Sheath Removal Procedures
- Starting and Maintaining IVs
- Telemetry Monitoring (both on unit and remote)
- Wound Care/Wound Vac Management
Unit Details
- Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
- Average Daily Census: 38 Patients
- Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation
- Common Patient Diagnoses: CHF, ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI), Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI), Cardiovascular Conditions

Orientation Hours: 24
Travelers may be expected to float to similar units as needed based on the facility’s requirements. A brief orientation will be provided.
