**Shift:** Day – 3×12
**Description:**
Certified Nursing Assistant position in Med/Surg Float Pool.
– Shift: 6, 12-hour shifts in two weeks, every other weekend is required
– Level 1 trauma experience preferred
**Qualifications:**
– Current New York State certification
– Must have BLS certification
– One year of patient care experience
– Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
**Duties:**
– Demonstrates excellent communication skills
– Ability to work well in teams
– Exhibits patient focus
– Performs direct and indirect nursing care activities (obtaining vital signs, toileting, bathing, and feeding of patients based on patient assignment)
– Works as a safety companion to patients who are deemed a safety risk
– Demonstrates knowledge of normal growth and development

– Works collaboratively with all members of the health care team
– Problem-solves
– Maintains a safe work environment
– Participates in quality improvement
