Shift: Day Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4pm13 weeksElekta Synergy, CyberKnife and Phillips CT Stimu
Description: Job Responsibilities:The following duties are performed on Elekta Synergy, CyberKnife and Philips CT Simulator.-Administers radiation treatment of prescribed dose to the designated area to include reproducing patient position and plan parameters for each day of treatment.-Performs patient simulations with the physician.-Fabricates immobilization devices.-Takes XVI and/or portal images as specified in the treatment plan.-Measures diode reading as requested by physician.-Performs accurate chart documentation in the EMR.-Schedules patients.-Ensure accurate billing.-Fabricates blocks and cutouts for electron treatments.-Performs morning warm-up of equipment.-Alerts physician and nurse of any complications a patient may be experiencing.-Operates the CT big bore for radiation planning.-Participate in weekly chart rounds, monthly staff meetings, and any other meetings designated by management.-Adheres to the scheduling requirements of the position. null Schedule Notes:Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4pm13 weeksElekta Synergy, CyberKnife and Phillips CT StimulatorPopulation: adolescent – elderlySkills: Required Skills & Experience:-N/APreferred Skills & Experience:-N/A nullEducation: Required Education:-Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Radiation Therapy.Preferred Education:-Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Radiation.Required Certifications & Licensure:-New York State licensure registration in Radiologic Technology Radiation Therapy.-ARRT Radiation Therapy certification.-BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).Preferred Certifications & Licensure:-N/A nullJob Category: Clinical-Allied
