Responsible for tracking lost and broken instrumentation and maintenance of digital records of instrumentation in SPM software. Performs weekly missing instrument audit reports. Ensures that these responsibilities are carried out according to established directions designated in procedure manual. Functions as a team member, supporting department activities providing for optimal instrument and equipment processing. Functions as a patient advocate. Responsible for performing delegated activities to support the operating room team in the care of the surgical patient. Certified Central Service Technician certification and Instrument Specialist Certification Preferred. Successful completion of a vocational program for Central Service, preferred.
