Description: HWL Requisition:Rochester General Hospital-Allied-4497 Shift: 12 hours. One weekend of call a month, one day on call per week, and one late shift per week.**PLEASE READ THE JOB DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THE POSITION REQUIREMENTS ARE VERY SPECIFIC**Must be Certified – NBSTSA certification is required at the time of submission. AHA BLS is required. Certified Surgical Technologist who is highly knowledgeable and comfortable and MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:-Open Vascular surgery cases ranging from amputations to open Abdominal Aortic repairs.-Hybrid/ Endovascular cases. Applicants must have experience in peripheral angiograms and venograms with radiographic interventions, endovascular repairs all aneurysms. NCCT accepted ( Agency to send verification at time of submission) that degree is be from a Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)- or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)- accredited program with a Surgical Technology major.Facility can call off up to 3 shifts for 13-week contract and 2 shifts less than 13-week contract.Eight hours of non-billable orientation.
