Description: Due to licensing time-it would be best to have a candidate who already has a NY licensure in SLP or someone who has applied: Schedule: Mon – Fri Hours: 40 hours a week License: NYS Experience: 1-2 years preferred Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for speech, language and swallowing therapy evaluation and treatment in accordance with physician referral. Other responsibilities include instructing and educating speech students, the community and supervising rehab aides. Completing assessment of patient’s speech, language, and swallowing function, psychological, emotional, educational and spiritual needs. Required Skills and Experience: Education: Successful completion of accredited speech language pathology program including Master’s degree, certificate of clinical competence (ASHA) Licensure: NYS Licensure EPIC experience
