Patient Diagnoses: Newborn to low acuity adult med surg patients admitted. In addition, when census is low, and no respiratory patients are on the unit we overflow low acuity NICU. Frequent diagnosis: respiratory, surgical, seizure, OD, general medicine, and inpatient adult chemo. PICU status patients include DKA, respiratory failure requiring HI flow O2 therapy. Outpatient peds includes Peds SANE exam, chemo, moderate sedation for MRI’s, CT, and echos.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Travel nurse not required to take adult chemo patients but must be able to be a secondary nurse assisting with the patient and care for adult low acuity med surg patients. Travel nurse not required to care for moderate sedation, peds chemo or SANE exams patients.
