Description: Pre/Post Area Responsibilities: Assesses/reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients and applies the nursing process to: Demonstrates basic competency in specialized procedures/equipment, i.e. Cardiac Monitoring Care of and/or recovery of patient pre/post interventional cardiac procedures Care of patients wit vascular closure devices: application, maintenance, and removal Maintain/Pull Arterial and/or Venous Sheaths ACT machine Angioseal/Vasoseal Minimal Sedation Use of moderate sedation with use of safety and prevention guidelines involved in delivery of moderate sedation. Assist with transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) with use of safety and guidelines involved in delivery of the procedure.
