Description: Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient s needs.Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.Initiates assessment based on the patient s problems or needs, the physician s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.Manages care of patients.Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Not often, only when census is down and not needed in Peds ER, Mother/Baby, Nursery.13 week Assignment. Minimum 2 years of previous Clinical Pediatric experience required and 2 years of PICUBLS-aha & PALS certifications- Required Float requirements- Will be required to float to Pediatric ER, Mother/Baby, or Nursery.Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer. Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a prioritySkills: Minimum qualifications required for services:Experience: 1+ year of experience in related specialty Required BLS-AHA PALS-AHA Minimum 2 years of previous Clinical Pediatric experience required and 2 years of PICU AdditionalEducation: Licenses and Certifications Required:Degree = ASN Required. BSN Preferred.NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact licenseBLS-AHAPALS;Languages: English Read Write Speak English(Speak , Read , Write)Job Category: Clinical
