Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Every Other Weekend Required. Holidays- At least one per season. No on Call.
Description: Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.Manages care of patients.Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Schedule Notes:7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Every Other Weekend Required. Holidays- At least one per season. No on Call. 13 Week assignmentMin 1-2 years of recent L&D experience Required. BLS-aha, ACLS-aha, and NRP Certifications all- Required. Mother/Baby and or Nursery Experience- Preferred. This is a LDPR (Labor/Delivery, Postpartum Recovery) Unit- both mother/baby and L&D on the same unitPatient Ratio: Varies everyday based on type of patients caring for. – Mother/Baby- 1:3-4- Labor Patient- 1:2Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other then those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer. Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priority.Skills: Minimum qualifications required for services:Experience: 1+ year of experience in related specialty Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the state of NJCurrent CPR Health Care Provider CertificationFor TELE Positions – ACLS is required Required Mother/Baby and or Nursery Experience- Preferred. AdditionalEducation: Add language that a multi-state compact license is acceptable.;Languages: English Read Write Speak English(Speak , Read , Write)Job Category: Clinical
