Shift: Weekly Overnight 3×12 Hr

Description: The CVICU is a fast paced and high intensity unit, seeking energetic staff. Our CVICU offers ECMO and LVAD services. Hospital dedicated exclusively to cardiovascular care, including left ventricular aortic device (LVAD) implant, and a cutting-edge hybrid operation room where surgeons can perform advanced surgical services for cardiovascular patients. Responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge. May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.Skills: Minimum 1 year experience working in the Cardiovascular ICU in an acute care hospital setting required.Must have the skills and experience to care for patients who have had heart cauterizations, electro-physiology procedures as well as more advanced interventions such as TAVRs, LVADs and open hearts after their stay in CVICU.Candidate must have: Excellent interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills. Ability to maintain strict strict patient confidentialityStrong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions and demonstrate maturity and accountabilityAbility to perform work when no directions are given, and give directions to others Ability to remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful or crisis situations Ability to demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organization, knowledge of Epic a plus! Required PATIENT CARE RN LICENSE RN ACLS EPIC Additional REGISTERED NURSE ICU SELF MOTIVATED CCRNEducation: ASN required. BSN preferred.Valid State RN License required.BLS .
