Description: TheTelemetry RN is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The successful candidate will be able to:Coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standardsCollaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomesContributing to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient careCollect patient’s health dataAnalyze assessment data in determining patient problemsIdentify expected outcomes individualized to the patientDevelop a comprehensive plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomesImplement interventions identified in the plan of careEvaluate patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomesAssist with the plan of care, evaluate, modify and coordinate care, and communicate well with other disciplinesDelegate task to unlicensed personnel in compliance with the Board of NursingConduct discharge planning, assisting the patient/significant others to obtain knowledge about illness, injury prevention, and teachingMaintain confidentiality with all informationPerform any and all other duties as assignedSkills: Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a Candidate must have: Excellent interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions and demonstrate maturity and accountabilityAbility to perform work when no directions are given, and give directions to others Ability to remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful or crisis situations Ability to demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organization, knowledge of Epic a plus! Required RN LICENSE EPIC PROBLEM-SOLVING REGISTERED NURSE PATIENT CARE Additional TELEMETRY RN DISCHARGE PLANNING ACLSEducation: ASN required. BSN preferred.Valid State RN LicenseBLS required.
