Description: The Clinical Nurse (RN) has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the Department of Nursing. The RN, utilizing Jean Watson s Theory of Caring, Relationship Based Care, and NorthBay s professional nursing practice model assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all patients assigned to his/her care. The RN makes determinations regarding the progress of the patient toward goals and utilizes a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health. Care is provided according to the specific physiologic, developmental and psychosocial needs of the patient. Supports the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization. OT Rule: AWS 10OT, 12DT, OT after 40 in a week.Skills: Advance assessment, monitoring and care of complex patients. Assessment, monitoring, and care of environment, patient pr, during, and post procedures within the Cath Lab and Cath Lab Observation. Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills. Performs all physical duties of the job. Requires lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and fine motor skills. Completion of annual organizational requirements for employment. Required CA RN CATH LAB AdditionalEducation: Completion of annual organizational requirements for employment. Associate or Bachelor Degree accepted. Valid and current RN license by the State of California. Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS. Minimum one year recent experience doing Cath Lab. Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care is preferred. RCIS preferred. Current ACLS required. Minimum 1 year of recent experience doing Cath Lab. Minimum two years of experience in critical care preferred. RCIS preferred.
