Description: DAYS – 8HR: Monday-Friday 8-5 and Friday 1/2 day Texas Health Heart and Vascular Specialists #187481300 West Terrell Avenue, Ste 500Fort Worth, TX 76104Cardiac devicetech needs to know the EKG rhythms, but then interrogates the pacemaker ordefibrillator. The Cardiac DeviceTechnician will provide thorough, competent, interrogations and reprogrammingof cardiac devices implanted in patients, including, but not limited toPacemakers, Implantable Loop Records, and Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators. This will include checks done in office aswell as remotely monitored patients. This position will do initial interrogations, report generation usingservice line program, and documentation in EMR, as well as bring acute/ urgentissues to the attention of the physicians or APP s. In addition, works with physicians, APP s andother Cardiac Device Technicians to ensure alert thresholds and protocolsremain current in the device clinic(s).
